Sunday July 4th.
Following the competition to draw one of our engines entered by pupils from Denver VC Primary School in 2020, 8 of the 12 entrants visited the Museum on Sunday with siblings and parents for a fun afternoon seeing the engines running and taking part in some activities, including 'hunt the tools'.
The competition had been judged by local independent artist, Sally Dunham www.sallydunham.co.uk back in September 2020 so that certificates and Museum pens could be sent to all the children who had entered at that time.
The three main prize winners collected their prizes, but all the entries were praised - it was very hard to judge them.
Well done to Rosie - centre, Jack on the left and Eric on the right!
