Plan a visit
During 2017, the Museum will be open from Easter Saturday (15th April) until Sunday October 8th.
We are open on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 12.00 to 16.00.
Tuesdays are usually work-days for our volunteer engineers so why not visit then to watch and talk to them!

Prickwillow Museum is a particularly popular venue for school project visits. We work with you to create a day to suit the needs of the curriculum and your pupils. Please click here to find out more.
Visits by private club groups and holiday coach tours are catered for by arrangement, including evening and out of season visits. Group visits can include provision of refreshment and light buffet meals. Demonstration running of one or more of the large engines is usually possible for group visits and this is combined with an audio-visual presentation to provide a memorable visit.
These include a café, providing hot and cold drinks, light snacks and ice creams and a shop which stocks a range of gift items, including books and DVDs.
The Museum has wifi, and iPads that may be borrowed in order to access further information about the Museum and its collection.
There is wheelchair access to the majority of the Museum.
Assistance dogs are allowed access to the Museum. All other dogs are welcome in the outdoor area of the Museum, where they may enjoy a bowl of water. We cannot allow them into the Museum building, for their own safety.
The large main hall of the Museum is available to hire for meetings (when the Museum is closed to the public) and refreshments (including buffet meals) are provided, if required.
