Suffolk County Tours visited Prickwillow Museum recently as part of their over-the-border excursion into Cambridgeshire. Not only a practical stop, with a large free car park for the coach and the museum's bright and airy café, but also an opportunity to learn about the changing face of Fenland. The visitors really enjoyed the brilliantly restored pumping engines and were able to see and hear them in action using the new iPads and sound system. The many photographs of old Fenland were pored over, and the visitors enjoyed sharing memories and trying to identify the many vintage domestic and farming implements on display.
