1940's Day a big success

Yesterday, Prickwillow Museum hosted its first ever 1940's Day. Music was provided by vintage musicians Timescape, and visitors enjoyed singing along and dancing to wartime musical favourites. Ladies had their hair styled, vintage cars and vehicles were on show, our magnificent engines were running, and the stalls and cafe inside the museum did a brisk trade.
Huge thanks to Claire and Peter who organised the event, to all our volunteers who helped make the day a success, and of course to everyone who came along and enjoyed themselves.

Here's a film of the day's highlights.
