Reporting the Flood!

A half-day Drama and Literacy workshop for KS 2.

Using photographs, film footage, and other evidence, students follow the dramatic days of the 1947 floods and create news reports, assisted by characters and reporters of the day.

This workshop provides and excellent partner session to Wind, Steam and Dr Diesel and places the science in a real, human context.
To create a full day of activities, add another of our half-day workshops here or at Ely Museum.

For more information and to arrange a booking, or to discuss a visit tailored to your particular requirements, please contact our Education Officer, Sally Austin, 01353 666655
