Saturday 14th September: the evening starts with a BBQ available from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by a fascinating talk and slide show by Chris Jakes entitled: ‘From Scoop Wheel to Museum, 1830 to 1982’.
Admission £5, members £3. Food, wine, beer, soft drinks, tea/coffee etc. purchased separately from the cafe.

Sunday September 15th – open 11am to 4pm. Admission £7 adult, £6 concession, children 6-16 £1, family £15.
The official starting of the Mirrlees will be after an ‘introduction’ to the engine at 2pm, followed by cutting the birthday cake.
Marvel at the historical documents, photos and general information about Prickwillow and the engine house through the years, enjoy the fen tales by HistoryNeedsYou, see the magnificent celebrity Mirrlees engine working along with our other engines, ‘meet’ Dr Diesel and talk to him about his inventions.
Lots more including model engines, model planes with associations with the local area, children’s activities, birthday cake.
